Sophy Holland Super Humans

For this project with photographer Sophy Holland, we designed a 146-page book showcasing her work capturing people in their most powerful light. After I created the concept for the book, Super Humans, I curated imagery from her vast catalogue and organized it to emphasize visual motifs related to power and strength and then further to adhere to a color-coded progression. The concept was further visualized through the use of printing special effects such as disappearing elements through the use of an acrylic sheet, reveals via gatefolds and cut-outs, and spot UV gloss to create a 3D feel.
